Few Malaysians know this, but the Jungle Railway is one of the great train journeys you can experience in Southeast Asia!

Spanning the length of peninsula Malaysia and officially know as the East Coast Railway Line (ECRL), the route travels from Johor Bahru, in the south all the way to Tumpat, Kelantan, on the east coast.

And this netizen has experienced in all! Sharing it on social media, here is a video of his adventure.

In the beginning of the video, the netizen shared that he boarded his train from Gemas circa 12:08 am.

Having had breakfast on board the train, the scenes that he saw throughout the journey were indeed worth it!

Now, if you are planning a trip to take the Jungle Railway, be sure to schedule one that runs in the day.

With the first section of the Jungle Railway opening way back in 1910 and was completed in 1931, much of the way follows through rivers and mountains.
