A father from Taiwan who tirelessly works in the paint production line recently forced himself to bear the pain of washing his hands with strong solvents for 30 minutes straight because he didn’t want to embarrass his daughter with his shabby appearance at her school’s Christmas production.
In a post on social media, the modest man revealed that his job involves having to get his hands dirty with paint frequently so washing his hands with ordinary washing powder would not suffice.

He went on to say that as his daughter was waiting for him to see her Christmas show at school, so he had to wash his hands with strong liquid and go home to change his clothes to look presentable in front of her and her friends, according to Sin Chew Daily.
“Although it hurts, I have to wash my hands when I think of my daughter waiting at school for me to see her Christmas show at night,” said the loving father.

The caring parent also explained that he was not worried about being seen by other parents, he was just concerned that his daughter would feel uncomfortable if her friends talked about how messy his father’s appearance was.
The post quickly went viral on social media with many netizens praising the father for his selfless actions.
