One of the most important things a couple needs to do to stay strong together is to put up with each other’s flaws, or at least, to compromise by meeting halfway.
One most recent example that touched the hearts of many Malaysian netizens is this story about a husband and wife, which was shared by their son on Facebook.
The son writes,
“My dad has a tough and brute job. Due to this nature of work, he would fall asleep instantly. One thing though, he snores very loud.
“My mom is a light sleeper. So she would often not want to sleep with my dad in the same room. Hence, my dad would end up sleeping in the living room.
“Today, when mom entered the bedroom, she was surprised to see that my dad taped his own mouth shut. He did that because he didn’t want to let himself snore, and wanted to sleep together with mom.
“The sight was seriously touching. Mom then removed the tape from dad’s mouth!
“This is what you call love.”
Malaysian netizens who read the post were all touched by the dad’s action. Serious relationship goal right there!
Some even shared their own stories. One netizen wrote,
“My husband also snores very loud. However, I never complained before because I understand how hard he’s working to earn money for the family. He loves his family, and will often bring our daughter out whenever he’s free. As long as a family’s happy – that’s what is most important.”
Don’t we all wish we had a relationship as loving as this ourselves!
