It’s sad to see libraries not receiving the recognition they deserve. In today’s world, you don’t see people going to libraries as often as they do.

A Malaysian woman went out of her way as she set up a a mini library on the wagon at the neighborhood playground in Selangor.

Qila Mumtaz excitedly shared glimpses of her newly established mini library for the local kids on a Facebook group called The Librarianologist.
She mentioned that this was the second time they had set up the mini library and noted how many of the children were enjoying the books.

One user even went as far as to ask Aqilah,

“How do you start the read aloud session in public? Did you start 1st with your children?”

Aqilah responded to the comment, explaining that she it all started with her children, as they would typically engage in read-alouds at home. She also mentioned that the initial sessions took place among friends and neighbors in their neighbourhood.

Her thoughtful act has earned praise from numerous online users, prompting them to flood the comment section with words of appreciation.
