A little help goes a long way.

The residents of Taman Sri Muda have been suffering for almost a week already due to the floods and as of now, there are still many volunteers on the ground.

A volunteer at Taman Sri Muda, Albert Chung uploaded a heartwarming picture that has gone viral on various social media platforms.

Seorang budak India membawa generator dengan menaiki 4×4 masuk ke kawasan Taman Sri Muda semata…

Posted by Albert Chung on Wednesday, 22 December 2021

In the caption, he says, “these people are thinking outside the box. An Indian man drove a 4×4 into Taman Sri Muda with his generator just so that he can allow people to charge their phones for free.”

“If you want to help someone, there are many ways for you to do that.”

Speaking to WORLD Of BUZZ, the volunteer said that the man pulled up into the tent next to them at about noon and started telling everyone that they can charge their phones for free there.

They provided some extensions for people to plug their chargers into. Albert added,

“They said if we ever needed to charge our phones, we can go to their side and we told them if they wanted food or drinks, they can come over to our side.”

The man stayed till evening before leaving.

According to TNB, the electricity in Taman Sri Muda has been restored on the night of 23 December.

This story of people helping each other definitely warms us up! It also shows that all of us are capable of giving help, no matter how small the task may seem to be.

So, thank you to each and everyone who has contributed towards helping Taman Sri Muda and other flood-affected areas. #KitaJagaKita
