Calling all KFC lovers out there, we have news that will definitely make your day!

If you haven’t heard, KFC just released its new KFC Ghost Pepper Zinger and Twister and we are very excited to try it!

These new items on the menu were inspired by one of the spiciest chillis in the world and KFC has made a sauce which will tingle your taste buds with a “slow and lingering heat”.

FYI, ghost pepper hails from India and its actual name is Bhut Jolokia. It was formerly known as the hottest chilli pepper in the world in 2007. It even has a place in The Guinness Book of World Records.

However, it was dethroned by the Carolina Reaper in 2013 but don’t underestimate the heat of the ghost pepper because it can definitely bring a grown man to tears. It’s that spicy!

KFC’s ghost pepper sauce is also paired with their signature Zinger fillet (Zinger strip for Twister) accompanied by tomatoes, Japanese cucumbers and some nachos.

All of that goodness is packed between two red Zinger buns and if you order the Twister, you will get all of that wrapped in a toasted red tortilla. Yummy in my tummy.

Feeling excited already? Before you head over to KFC to buy their new burger and wrap, here are the prices for their Ghost Pepper Zinger and Twister:

Ghost Pepper Zinger

  • A la Carte – RM10.90
  • Combo – RM14.90
  • Box Meal – RM18.90

Ghost Pepper Twister

  • A la Carte – RM8.90
  • Combo – RM12.90
  • Box Meal – RM16.90

So, if you’re up for a spicy challenge today, pay a visit to the nearest KFC outlet and get your hands on their Ghost Pepper Zinger or Twister. Just remember to bring a bottle of cold milk with you in case you need to put out the fire!

That said, don’t forget to share this article with all the KFC lovers you know. Bon appetit, guys!
