It’s no secret that every now and then, fast food chains would include new and seasonal items onto their menus for a limited time period.

But never in our years of life did we ever think we’d see something called ‘Pukis’ on a fast food menu.

KFC Indonesia recently announced their new dessert item and it’s ‘Pukis’ that comes in various flavours!

Kfc 1

They shared, “Now, you can buy Pukis at KFC with a special price, KFC Lovers! Enjoy 4 delicious Pukis of your favourite flavours only by paying 22RB-AN only! So, come on, hurry to KFC and satisfy your sweet tooth!”

According to Liputan6, the Pukis come in 5 different flavours, namely cheese, cookie crumbs, chocolate nuts, double chocolate and original. A set of 4 Pukis are priced at 22,000 Indonesian Rupiah (RM6.58).

And before you guys get too excited, Pukis are actually traditional snack cakes, also known as Kuih Pukis.

They are made on a special mold pan with a batter of wheat flour, yeast, eggs, coconut milk and sugar, and can often be found at Indonesian markets. So yeah, get your heads out of the gutter, guys!

Honestly, the Pukis look really delicious.

Would you give these Pukis a try? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
