Defence Minister Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob has announced in his live broadcast today (29 June) that wet and dry theme parks will be allowed to operate starting from 1st July.

The number of people allowed to be in the park will be according to the size of the park. Operators will have to strictly enforce social distancing among the park-goers, check their temperatures and place hand sanitisers at different locations.

Operators of wet theme parks will have to follow the swimming pool standard operating procedures (SOP) that can be found on MKN’s website soon.
