In his press conference today, Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that parents will no longer need to get a permission letter from PDRM when they’re travelling interstate or interdistrict when they’re sending their children to school or hostels.
He added that PDRM officials will be informed of this development and parents need to only show evidence of their child’s school location.
Malaysian school students are set to begin their schooling period on 1 March 2021 with preschool and primary school students starting first and only then followed by highschool students.
