He stabbed her 5 times with a knife

In the 32-second live video, family members inside the house can be seen reacting in shock and terror, screaming in fear as Agus Herbin Tambun suddenly attacks and stabs his wife as she is singing karaoke.

According to reports, he stabbed her 5 times from behind, catching her completely off guard while she was live-streaming at their home in North Sumatra.

His motive was jealousy

The suspect, however, fled the scene after the incident, and the victim’s family then took her to Chevani Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

After a report was filed with the police, Agus was successfully arrested within less than 24 hours while hiding at a relative’s house.

Initial investigations revealed that the suspect admitted his actions were driven by feelings of hurt and jealousy because Hertalina was still on good terms with her ex-husband.

It was later revealed that the knife used as the weapon belonged to the victim and was typically used for slicing fruit.
