One of the most popular musicians in the world right now, Taylor Swift is now at the Singapore stop of her “Eras Tour”, where she’s in the midst of performing a historic 6-day show at the small island nation south of Malaysia.

Accordingly, many interesting things happened during the 2 shows that she has already performed in Singapore as of the time of writing.

For the show yesterday (3 March) though, one of the most interesting things that caught the attention of netizens was the shirt worn by an Indonesian man accompanying his Swiftie wife to the concert.

Spotted by many concertgoers yesterday, photos of the man in a custom-print white shirt have gone viral, as many were amused by what was printed on the shirt.

Written in Bahasa Indonesia, the front of the shirt reads,

“I’m not a Swiftie but I want to please my wife”

It costs around RM10,330 for the trip to watch the concert

Meanwhile, at the back, there was a whole spreadsheet detailing the estimated cost of bringing his wife to the Taylor Swift concert in Singapore.

The breakdown of the costs is as follows:

  • Category 1 seat tickets – IDR21,500,000 (RM6,466)
  • Surabaya – Singapore flight tickets – IDR7,000,000 (RM2,105)
  • Hotel 1 night – IDR3,800,000 – IDR3,800,000 (RM1,143)
  • Food and drinks – IDR3,800,000 (RM1,143)
  • Wife’s outfit – IDR1,000,000 (RM301)
  • Souvenirs – IDR1,000,000 (RM301)
  • This custom-printed shirt – IDR50,000 (RM15)

That brings the total cost to IDR34,350,000 or approximately RM10,330, with the very bottom of the shirt saying, “Signed, a husband who loves his wife”.

The loving Indonesian man has since been identified as the husband to Ulfa Merdeka, an Indonesian internet personality.
