“I’m traumatised by Penang”

Zety added that the man, who’s originally from Penang, had told her to let him know if she ever ended up in the state.

“I’m traumatised by Penang. I was friends with this guy from the Penang government. He came to a course in Putrajaya, and we became friends. He said that if I ever went to Penang, I should let him know,” she wrote.

With hopes of meeting him, she decided to travel from Kuala Lumpur to Penang, planning to stay for five days and four nights.

“He came clean about being married”

Upon arriving in Penang, she said the man never showed up to meet her and, to her shock, revealed news she hadn’t anticipated.

“I stayed in Penang for five days and four nights. And exactly at 1 PM, he finally confessed that he’s married and has a young child,” she said.

Back in Kuala Lumpur, she described feeling completely heartbroken, especially given the long journey she had made.

“It hurt so much, especially since Penang to Kuala Lumpur is such a long way. If there’s ever a course there again, I’ve decided to just reject it.”
