A collection 24 illustrations by Hong Kong designer published on Facebook page 本土工作室 Local Studio HK got the post circulating.
The illustrations were thought to be brutal but it very well captured the stereotypes of China, and how Hong Kong is very different from it.
The anonymous illustrator said that these artwork are to “mourn the fact that Hong Kong has been ‘colonized’ by mainland China” and to “tell the world about the differences between Hong Kongers and Chinese people”.
