No one, especially women should feel threatened and unsafe when they are outdoors. Unfortunately, sexual harassment in any form is still happening anytime and anywhere.
On Saturday (5 March), on a TikTok post, Zett shared a horrifying experience where she was harassed by a man at a well-known restaurant in PJ. She was there alone after her gym session and after she had ordered her food, she noticed an uncle staring at her before he approached her.
“What the f**k are you doing here?” the man asked Zett.
Zett told the man that he got the wrong person as she has never met him but he pretended to know her by saying “I’ve met you at the club before,” but Zett has never been to any club before this. He then continued by asking where is Zett’s boyfriend, to which Zett constantly assured him that he got the wrong person.
The man later went to the washroom and she thought that was the end. Unfortunately, he came back and Zett was more terrified.
“Since you don’t have a boyfriend, come sit with me,” the man said and offered his hand.
Zett managed to dodge before the man could touch her and told him to not disturb her. Before he went away, he pointed at Zett’s vape and asked,
“Is that a dildo?”
And no, it did not end there. The man returned again and this time, he immediately sat beside Zett. As she was panicking, she stood up and went to the nearby table where another group of people was sitting and asked if she could join them.
“I told them I was being harassed by the man at my table and thank God, they were understanding and nice about it.”
Zett managed to tell the manager about it and he kindly offered a safer spot for her to have her dinner. Before ending the video, Zett revealed that she was wearing an oversized hoodie and loose shorts just in case people are victim-blaming her for her attire.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Zett revealed that the man was still at her table when she was already seated with another group. A few moments later, he went back to his own seat after realising that she was not coming back. As Zett was leaving the place, she said the man was still there. You can watch the full video below.

No one should endure these dangers and fears while spending some alone time. If you feel unsafe, do report to the authorities or as what Zett cleverly did, do immediately remove yourself from the situation and seek help from people nearby. In the meantime, always be alert to your surroundings.
