Yes guys, we’re not making this up.
Everyone is definitely familiar with British actor Idris Elba, most well-known for his roles in the ‘Thor‘ movies and the popular detective series, ‘Luther‘. Apart from his impressive acting chops, he’s definitely won everyone in the world over with his charm and good looks! Seriously, who can resist this guy?!
So, if you’ve been keeping up with local social media last night, you would have heard that the legend himself was in KL with his fiancée for the relaunch of premium Southeast Asian magazine, Unreserved.
The event itself was held last night at St. Regis, where the magazine’s debut cover featuring local actor and ‘Crazy Rich Asians‘ star, Henry Golding, was unveiled.
The ‘Thor: Ragnarok‘ star definitely stole the show though, with loads of local celebrities and socialites snapping selfies with him all night. Heck, even Joe Flizzow got a selfie with him! Jealous!
Needless to say, this definitely caught the attention of thousands of Malaysians on social media. Many of them took to Twitter to voice out their excitement (and thinly veiled frustration) over the British actor’s appearance on Malaysian soil.
Well Idris, if you’re reading this, make sure you try out some of our amazing local food! Give us a call and we can show you around while you’re here, kay? 😉
