The Chang sisters took an e-hailing ride to the Sepang Sessions Court on Thursday (October 24), where Adeline pleaded guilty after sharing the picture of a minor with inappropriate remarks.

Her sister, Alice had a lot to tell the media friends, including her discreet relationship life but before the sisters left the place, Adeline herself had a message to fellow Malaysians.

“I pleaded guilty because I knew it was my fault”

Speaking to the media friends, Adeline admitted that it was not right of her to drag an innocent child into a dispute between 2 adults.

She explained that after she accepted a woman’s invitation to start a live broadcast, the latter did not pay her overtime for the live broadcast and the money for a bottle of ginseng essence, so she uploaded the child photos of the other party and wrote obscene words in the photos.

“I regret my actions and I learned that sometimes, it’s okay to go through some losses. There was no need for me to cause a havoc just for an overtime pay and a bottle of ginseng essence.”

Adeline also revealed that it was her family who advised her to face the consequences of her actions and plead guilty to her offenses.

“I regret and feel guilty that my family had to pay the fines for me.”

Earlier, Adeline was charged with using a Facebook account named “Adeline Chang” to upload photos of children with obscene text on May 30 this year to hurt the emotions of others, in violation of Section 233 (1) of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

Adeline was fined RM7,000 and she could face a jail time of 6 months if she fails to pay the fine.
