Most of us are extremely blessed to be able to have both parents still here for us even as we approach our 30s or 40s.

However, one little boy in Jiangsu, China wasn’t as fortunate as his mother had passed away. A video of him went viral on 8 May after the little boy secretly left his house when his family members were asleep. He had taken a taxi to the area where his mother’s grave was located. However, he was unable to pinpoint where it was.

The taxi driver decided to drive up to nearby patrolling police to help the little boy. When the police asked the boy what he was doing there, the pre-teen said,

“Don’t follow me!”

The policemen probed a bit more but the boy did not budge. When they were escorting him to the police station, the boy suddenly said:

“I just want to go to my mother’s grave…”

Taken aback by the answer, the policeman then tenderly told him that he can do so in the morning. When they got to the station, the authorities got in contact with the boy’s family members and the child managed to get home safely.

The boy must have really missed his mother a lot to have done what he did. We hope that the boy will grow up big and strong so that he can continue to make his mother proud.
