A recent post has caught the attention of many Malaysians after a Threads user, claiming to be Singaporean, uploaded a video that quickly went viral.
In the video, the individual is seen allegedly refuelling RON95 petrol at what appears to be a petrol station in Malaysia, alongside the caption: “How to make Malaysians angry as a Singaporean.”

“Steal Malaysians’ petrol”
At one point in the video, the individual is seen recording himself while refuelling a vehicle with RON95 petrol before pulling out what is believed to be his Singaporean passport.
He and another person then point at the pump display, which shows they had filled up RM60 worth of fuel.
The post was captioned:
“How to piss off Malaysians as a Singaporean. Step one: steal their petrol.”

Meanwhile, in the comments, one user tried to ease the tension by pointing out that despite refuelling in Malaysia, the individual still wasn’t entitled to the fuel subsidies enjoyed by Malaysians.
In response, the individual replied, “Wait till you see my next video where I get Budi95.”

It is uncertain if the individual’s car is actually a Singapore-registered vehicle or not.
