A cosmetics sales agent was allegedly taken from her home in Kamping Semat Jal, Kelantan, by a group of men yesterday afternoon (September 13).

Based on a report by Harian Metro, the victim, 36-year-old Rosnazirah Mohd Naim was dragged into a Toyata Vios by three men at around 4.10pm.

Her relatives, who refuse to be identified, shared that the three men came to the victim’s house, and one of them had knocked on the door and greeted her from outside before the victim opened the door.

Kidnap 1

“The man asked the victim if her name was ‘Azi’ and when she said yes, he then dragged her out to put her into the (waiting) car. The three men also showed their guns to the victim’s father and daughter, who were in the house, and threatened them if they were to take action,”

“The father of the victim saw Azi being dragged into the car and tried to save her, but one of the men pointed a ‘Rambo’ knife, causing the elderly man to retreat and only watch as the victim was taken away,” the relative explained.

Kidnap 2

The relative also said that their family received information that Azi was taken towards Pengkalan Kubor, which is the border area of the country, causing the victim’s husband to rush to the location. But, she was not found.

Witnesses claimed to have seen a woman being taken by a group of men onto a boat to a neighbouring country, while the Toyota Vios used was found at an illegal area there.

Kidnap 3

“The victim’s husband also tracked her to a neighbouring country and still has not returned. What we know is that Azi has no enemies and so far, we have not received any calls asking for ransom money. But, it is not certain if anyone is unhappy with her while she’s been running a cosmetics business,”

“Her parents are still shocked and saddened by this incident and at the same time, we are also praying for Azi to be found safely,” they added.

Tumpat District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Amran Dolah confirmed that a police report was made in regards to this incident and as further investigations are being made, he advises the public not to make any speculations that could effect their search for the victim.

CCTV footage from the victim’s home has since gone viral online, as it showcases the victim being dragged into the Toyota Vios.
