Not all heroes wear capes, some of them deliver our food too. Sometimes kindness can take any form and can occur at times we least expect it. A great example of this statement happened recently in the Philippines.

So I just ordered my breakfast from Jollibee and my 92 YEAR OLD neighbor saw me with the delivery guy. When lola saw…

Posted by Maris Mayol Tian on Thursday, September 6, 2018

It all started when a customer by the name of Maris Mayol Tian ordered food from the ever so popular fast-food chain, Jollibee. While making the delivery, her 92-year-old neighbour saw the guy handing over the food to Tian and immediately called him over to her house.

She then asked him what was he doing there and as soon as he told her that he delivers food for a living, she straightaway started ordering food from him. So cute!

Initially Tian assumed that the delivery guy would just ignore her and go about his other deliveries but to her surprise, the guy took out his own mobile phone and started calling for the orders that the grandma made!

Tian told Coconuts,

“Not a lot of people show kindness and pay attention to old people, but this guy did and I think that is very commendable and heartwarming.”

The delivery guy, Elpegie Palmares Sicor, reached out to Tian after the post went viral. She said, “He was praised at work by his manager and his co-workers. He said thank you. He can’t explain the feeling, he is just very humble.”

What happened between Sicor and the 92-year-old lady is a great example that there is kindness in everyone and sometimes we tend to overlook such things as we only focus on material things and judge based on face value.
