“He was super calm” – Venomous Snake Crawls Under Young Boy at Babysitter’s House in Perak

A heart-pounding incident caught on camera recently went viral on TikTok, depicting a young boy’s horrifying encounter with a venomous snake at his babysitter’s house in Bagan Serai, Perak.

The video, shared by TikTok user @mummy_miazaraa shows the venomous snake, believed to be an Egyptian Cobra or Naja Tripudians (locally known as ular senduk), crawling under the boy while he was laying down.

Furthermore, the boy can be seen stepping on the snake’s body, though it doesn’t seem to bother the Egyptian Cobra that much.

Throughout the whole video, the boy remained incredibly calm and somewhat oblivious to the snake and the dangers that it pose. You can watch the whole video here:

The 20-second video has since gone viral, racking up over 4.3 million views and 151,000 likes in just 2 days.

The mother of the boy, known as Yana clarified in the video’s comments section that thankfully, his son was not harmed during the incident and stressed that the snake is in fact an Egyptian Cobra and not some toy.

She shared,

“Salam… This is my son, Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God) my son is safe. Btw this is not a toy snake, it’s an Egyptian Cobra… Very venomous… But God protected my son.”

According to a report by MalaysiaGazette, the Fire and Rescue Department has since managed to capture the snake at the babysitter’s house in Taman Serai Perdana, Bagan Serai. The boy was also confirmed to have not been harmed.
