There’s always a reason why people take action – to protect themselves, to find happiness, anything. When it comes to marriage, do you need a reason to cheat?

Aliff Aziz’s sister, Aisyah recently broke her silence and shed some details about the deceptions between Aliff and Bella Astillah’s marriage. To Aisyah, it’s her brother’s coping mechanism to heal from past trauma, as mentioned in her IG story @aisyaah_aziz.

“He cheated because he was bullied in school.”

According to her, everyone should be helping Aliff at this tough time and not bringing him down because “he is clearly in need of help”. Despite Aliff’s success and fame today, it wasn’t easy for him, and it is still not, just like Justin Bieber and Chris Brown.

“He went from surviving bullies in school to stardom in 16. You see how dysfunctional Justin Bieber and Chris Brown are? That could be what’s happening to Aliff.”

Aisyah, however, is not saying what her brother has been doing is right. She, too, understands that she is no one to speak because “she is on the causer’s side”.

The caring sister is not asking much. All she wants is for people to pray for Aliff’s healing as well as Bella’s.

“I hope you can find a tiny space in your heart now as you read this to make a small prayer for him, that he finds his way into healing.”

In a recent interview, Aliff also admitted that he cheated because “he felt empty” inside.

“I couldn’t appreciate what I had, I couldn’t control myself.”

Earlier, when asked if Aliff cheated 11 times, he couldn’t come up with an answer because he didn’t keep track of the numbers. At the time of writing, Aliff has accepted what Bella wants for the connection.

Traumas do unspeakable things to the victims. Regardless of the reason, we hope both Aliff and Bella find peace in their life, and can move forward to better things.
