This can be seen from an incident that occured Nanchong, China, where a grandmother actually tied her seven-year old grandson before dangling him down from the balcony of her apartment which is on the 5th floor to save her beloved cat that was stuck on the balcony of the unit below hers.

From the video, it can be seen that the rescue mission was a success after the boy put the cat into a bag and he was then hoisted up back to the 5th floor. As reported by Newsbook, onlookers who were there to witness the incident screamed at her to stop the whole operation but she simply ignored them.

The love for cats can drive people to do crazy and illogical things. If you’re a cat owner, just keep reminding yourself to take a step back and re-evaluate the actions you might take for your cats. Sometimes the ramifications can be really bad.
