The Aesop Women’s Library is here in Malaysia!

Following the successful launch of Aesop Singapore Women’s Library, the luxury cosmetic brand is bringing the women’s library to Malaysia, taking place at Aesop Pavilion and Aesop The Gardens Mall in Kuala Lumpur  from 26 to 28 May and at Aesop Gurney Plaza in Penang from 2 to 4 June.

“Over the course of three days, the shelves of Aesop Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Aesop The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur and Aesop Gurney Plaza will be cleared of products to make way for significant works of literature detailing the experiences of women-identifying authors and allies from around the region,” stated Aesop Malaysia.

During this period of time, you can visit the selected Aesop stores and pick up a book of your choice for free. These complimentary books are written by Malaysian women writers, including Viji Krishnamoorthy, Leong Ching Foon, Hanna Alkaf and Alina Rastam.

According to the latest update from Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s official Instagram page, a total of 6,000 books have been given out, and the Aesop store will resume operations tomorrow. Those who are interested can still check out the Aesop Women’s Library at The Gardens Mall, and Aesop Gurney Plaza in Penang starting 2 June.

Check out the full catalogue of titles and authors featured in the ephemeral Aesop Women’s Library here.
