After Swatch introduced the Pride Collection of watches in support of the LGBTQ+ community, Apple has also recently launched its new Pride Edition watch bands in Malaysia.

The pride collection is to “celebrate the ongoing movement to protect and advance equality for LGBTQ+ communities around the world”, and the design is inspired by the “strength and beauty of the LGBTQ+ community”, according to Apple.

This latest pride edition Sports Band design comes in the colour white, with rainbow-coloured graffiti-like graphics all over it. It is also accompanied by a matching watch face and IOS wallpaper.

The price of the Sports Band is RM199, and buyers can choose between two case sizes (41mm, 45mm) and two band sizes (S/M, M/L). This is not the first time Apple has released a Pride Edition of watch bands, the other Pride Edition watch bands, sport loops and braided loops are still available on the Apple Malaysia website.

Previously, it was also reported that the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) raided Swatch stores nationwide to confiscate Swatch’s Pride collection watches.
