“Got snow in Melaka?!” Celebrate X’mas & NYE with the TALLEST X’mas Tree, a Music Festival & More!

It’s the time for presents and fireworks once again! Come to think of it, we’re actually quite spoiled with choices on how to celebrate the holidays with our loved ones. But if there’s one place that deserves everyone’s consideration, it would be this winter wonderland in Melaka.

Count down to the new year at COHEX Colourful Christmas Night & Happy New Year, with the first outdoor snowfall and tallest Christmas tree in Melaka, as well as an NYE countdown party headlined by Zico!

Here are three reasons why you should check out COHEX Colourful Christmas Night & Happy New Year, running from 21 December 2023 to 15 January 2024 (5PM – 11PM) @ The Sail Melaka.

1. Snow lands on top (of Christmas trees)

The first and most important monument every visitor should check out is The Shining Star, the pride and joy of COHEX’s wondrous occasion which happens to be the tallest outdoor Christmas tree in Melaka at 15 meters tall. We imagine that we would feel oh so tiny standing in front of this gigantic Christmas tree, so make sure none of your friends or family have megalophobia (fear of large objects) ah. ?

Then, be part of another historical moment in time when snow fell in the outdoors of Melaka on Christmas 2023! Watch Malaysia’s famous historical city be transformed into a winter wonderland for the first time, with the snow-capped Shining Star completing the Christmas vibes~

We recommend taking your family on a snowy stroll across the dreamy European-like market of Gift Land for the ultimate holiday experience, as you shop for the perfect present(s) for those you care about amidst hanging fairy lights and joyful carollers – truly the quintessential Christmas experience.

2. In awe of snowy memories, carousels & gift-giving

Follow the snow-covered steps further and you’ll eventually stumble upon the Snow House, an enchanting snow-filled theme park where you can engage in snowball fights, play life-sized human bowling, and many other games. Or if you’d rather be creating memories, you can snap as many photos as you like with Instagrammable snowmen and Christmas decor, giving your pics the sparkle and wonder of the holidays.

Then, keep that fun running all the way until Merryland, where the kids can embark upon a classic Christmas-themed merry-go-round, not to mention they can also play fun fair games like the Wheel of Fortune (win prizes according to where the pointer stops) and 5-Ball Game (land four balls in coloured slots to win) to win awesome prizes!

And lastly, embrace the Christmas spirit of gift-giving at COHEX’s Secret Santa from 22 – 24 December @ Gift Land in The Sail, a three-day celebration where you can exchange wonderful gifts with fellow Malaysians and surprise each other. Here’s how it works:

Forgot to bring your present for Secret Santa? Not to worry, because you have the ‘European market’ of Gift Land as your saving grace. Here you can get whimsical gifts like bubble guns, unorthodox bags, night lamps, snow globes, board games and many more, so you’ll have plenty of ways to express your generosity.

Seats are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t miss it!

3. End 2023 with fanfare and music!

We saved the BIGGEST celebrations of COHEX Colourful Christmas Night & Happy New Year for last, which are TWO countdown festivals: Colourful Christmas Night Countdown Party and Neon Dreams New Year Eve Countdown, that’ll be happening on 24 and 31 December, respectively.
