A viral Threads post capturing the chaotic closing moments of Malaysian Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism (MAHA) 2026 has left netizens in stitches after visitors completely cleared out live produce plants within minutes.
The video, uploaded by user ffirdauss_1234, showed a crowd eagerly grabbing chili, eggplant, and okra plants at the event grounds. The caption playfully read,
“The moment the YB said the chili, eggplant, and okra plants were free to take… Cleared out in seconds!”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, he shared the juicy details of what went down behind the scenes during the final stretch of the massive agriculture expo.
Happened at the Selangor Pavilion
According to the creator, the bustling scene took place at the Selangor Pavilion section of MAHA.
As it turns out, he said the moment YB Dato’ Ir Izham bin Hashim gave the green light for visitors to take home the display plants, the crowd wasted no time moving in.

Cleared out in minutes, but the giveaways didn’t stop there!
When asked if the area was truly wiped clean in just a matter of minutes, the creator confirmed that the live plants disappeared almost instantly. However, the generosity didn’t end with chili and eggplant bushes.
“Everything was cleared out, but they actually continued giving out fish, prawns, watermelons, pomelos, and various products from local entrepreneurs,” he revealed. “There were also plenty of flower plants available because other state pavilions had already started giving theirs out earlier.”
