2. Balik kampung early with this beautiful setup!

Want to feel like Raya came early? Then look no further than these stunning Raya decorations at SCM! Bringing the traditional kampung experience to the modern setting, you can enjoy the festive mood while taking early Raya OOTDs at these backdrops.

The highlight of the decor is, of course, the wau bulan! In case you didn’t know, the wau bulan is a traditional Malaysian kite that is most commonly found in Kelantan. This Raya, SCM took inspiration from the traditions of the East Coast region of Malaysia. This is why you’ll find elements like the wau bulan and batik being heavily incorporated into their setup.

There is no need to travel so far, just come to SCM and you’ll be able to experience Raya, East Coast style!

Not only that, we also love the Rumah Bujang setup, a type of traditional wooden house that originates from Terengganu, that will surely bring up that old-school Raya mood in you. There’s even an iconic Vespa that you can use as your OOTD prop! Super nice weh!

3. Take a break to enjoy these lively performances~

Need a break from all the shopping? Then you’re going to love the live performances that are held every weekend at Setia City Mall!

What we love most about these performances is that SCM brought various kinds of classic and traditional performances together such as the Dikir Barat (that originates from Kelantan) and the Caklempong (that was popularised in Negeri Sembilan) so that not only are they entertaining, but they can be educational as well! This might be your only opportunity to catch these traditional performances right here in the Klang Valley!

Here’s a list of the upcoming live performances that you can check out:

• 15 April (2PM) – Demo: Jawi Calligraphy
• 16 April  (2PM) – Music performance by Yamaha
• 16 April (5PM) – Caklempong performance
