Johor Menteri Besar (MB) Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi earned praise from Malaysia for his hands-on approach to resolving persisting issues faced by the people of Johor.

Going to the ground unannounced with his team to see the issues first-hand, Onn Hafiz has gone viral for his two previous visits to the Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) complex in Johor Bharu and making noise over its many operational inefficiencies.

Now, another video of his visit to CIQ has gone viral, this time in regard to the parking issues at the building that has long been a grievance by users.

Onn Hafiz then asserted,

“Don’t be cruel to others. This place is empty. I have monitored (the parking facilities) for two days, they are not in use.”

He then instructed for the ground and the first floor of the parking facilities to be open to the public, specifically for motorcycle parking.

Onn Hafiz then said that there are plenty of other parking in the building for staff to use, hence it’s high time for most of the parking spots to be used by the public.

These include the empty rooftop parking which the Johor MB sarcastically said can be used to play football.

In the middle section of the video, you can also see the Johor MB monitoring the parking facilities which have been designated for CIQ staff being completely unused except for a few.

At the end of the video, viewers can see the two floors of parking being open to the public as motorcyclists enter and parked there.
