Even the President of The United States is not safe from the COVID-19. Donald Trump was recently found in close vicinity with two people who have been exposed to the Coronavirus. These two individuals were his Republican congressmen, Doug Collins and Mat Gaetz.
According to the International Business Times, the two Republican Congressmen went into self-quarantine after finding out that they had been in direct contact with a fellow Republican who is now confirmed with COVID-19. However, both congressmen claim that they do not display any symptoms of the coronavirus.
Collins was found shaking hands with Trump last Friday when the president had travelled to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Georgia. Gaetz had been aboard with Trump on Air Force One on a Monday afternoon.
New Straits Times via AFP reported that it is unclear whether Trump had been tested for the Covid-19. Furthermore, news had also emerged that several lawmakers were exposed to the virus before meeting the president.
