Defence Minister: Sabahans Not Allowed To Travel Inter-District Starting From 2 To 15 October
Due to the rising number of cases in Sabah, Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced today that an Inter-District travel ban will be imposed in the state starting midnight today, 2 October, and is set to end on 15 October 2020.
However, the minister reassured that necessary services such as food supply requirements, medical, security etc. are allowed to travel across the district.
Throughout this period, those who are in quarantine and about to end their quarantine period will be allowed to return to their respective districts or even Peninsular Malaysia, Sarawak and Labuan.
The Administrative Targeted Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) at areas such as Lahad Datu, Tawau, Kunak and Semporna which started on 30 September.
