CIMB Staff in Johor Bahru Branch Tests Positive For Covid-19, Safety Measures Taken

There’s a constant fear within the nation on the spread of the Covid-19 virus, especially with the recent spike of cases. After yesterday’s update on cases by the Ministry of Health (MOH), it seems that the rakyat is starting to panic as the virus is spreading in Klang Valley.

Yesterday, another case was detected in Johor Bahru. A staff working in the commercial division of the Permas Jaya branch in CIMB Group Holdings Bhd in Johor Bahru was confirmed to be positive for Covid-19.

The organisation has since released a statement on the CIMB Malaysia Facebook page that the entire branch has undergone sanitation and cleaning as a precautionary measure.

According to Astro Awani, Dr Aman Rabu, the Johor Health Director, confirmed that CIMB group took the initiative to carry out the sanitation process upon identifying the Covid-19 case involving the bank staff after being asked about pictures that were shared on social media.
