What This Grandpa Did For His Wife During Mid-Autumn Festival Will Make Anyone’s Heart Melt!

The movie “The Notebook” has driven women from every corner of the globe to look for their Noah. And when Ellie passed away in the movie “UP”, everyone reached for the tissues.

But when you think all hope is lost to find your soulmate in promiscuous world, this elderly couple will reignite your belief that true love can happen outside of a movie screen.

In an extremely sweet gesture, an old grandpapa sent the Internet’s hearts melting as he brought the moon to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with his wife near HouHai, Beijing, reports the Shanghaiist.

It wasn’t the actual moon of course! It was an inflatable one, but for the romantic that he was, it might as well had been considered the real one.

Besides the huge moon prop, the sweet old gentleman even got his lover flowers! Awwwww!

A witness from Weibo shared that the old charmer had promised his Mrs. that they would share a romantic evening together gazing at the full moon of every Mid-Autumn.

However, it was forecasted that Mid-Autumn this year would clash with a bout of bad weather and there MIGHT be a chance that they weren’t able to see the moon. Unperturbed by the weatherman and determined to keep his promise to his sweetheart, the incurable romantic decided to bring his own moon. Omg our hearts are exploding!!

Embarrassed by his grand gesture, it seemed to have taken quite some convincing to keep the shy grandma from running away. But in the end, the moon is just too much for one to resist.

Just look at how adorable these two areeeee <3

There is absolutely nothing, NOTHING sweeter than a couple who is insanely in love, to have stuck it out through the highs and lows, and to grow old together.

It was reported that the romantic grandpa had secretly acquired the moon to surprise his beloved wife. This old couple, like many others, has surpassed immeasurable levels of cuteness.

Their romance is the definition of relationship goals!

“The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. And that’s what you’ve given me. That’s what I’d hoped to give you forever”
