We’re still proud of you no matter what, Zii Jia!
Malaysian badminton player, Lee Zii Jia faces defeat after losing to China’s Chen Long in today’s round-of-16 match with a close score of 21-8 (first set), 19-21 (second set) and 5-21 (final set).
The entire match was intense! No doubt did it keep spectators at the edge of their seats throughout the whole match.
Nevertheless, Malaysians still stand proud of Lee Zii Jia’s sportsmanship as he fought a good match, even after slightly injuring his hands within a few minutes of the first set.
Lee Zii Jia faced opponent Chen Long for the 5th time in his career today since their last match together at the quarter-finals of the All-England Open 16 months ago.
It’s safe to say that despite facing defeat, we Malaysians are proud!
