Despite our sweltering tropical weather, our love for hot and spicy street food will NEVER falter! ? Then again, we usually pair our hot meals with refreshing drinks to balance it out, especially a nice cold one. ?

If you relate to this as much as we do, then you MUST check out the hottest street food hunt in Malaysia!

The iconic Tiger Street Food Festival is back bigger and hotter than ever, bringing a street food experience like never before to Malaysian foodies!

Before you rock out at the Tiger Street Food Festival main event from 28 – 30 October and 4 – 6 November, here are the exciting pre-event celebrations you can partake in first!

1. Hunt down the hottest street food in town & be rewarded!

For unknown cosmic reasons, we Malaysians LOVE sharing good food as much as eating them, which is why Tiger is jio-ing you to recommend your favourite street food spots. Not only to give your favourite shops the recognition they deserve, but to also spread the joy of good street food to our fellow countrymen/women!

So the next time you’re at your favourite outlet, simply follow these steps:

1. Head over to the Tiger Street Food website.
2. Select “Recommend“.
3. Fill in the restaurant/stall’s name, address (you can also pin their location) and photos of their place and delicacies.

Simple, right?

And to top it all off, you can earn points by contributing to Tiger’s go-to street food directory, and redeem awesome wireless earphones like Apple Airpods* and Samsung Galaxy Buds Live*, as well as limited-edition Tiger merchandise (i.e. PMC bucket hat, tiffin carrier), up to RM20 Drinkies vouchers and free Tiger Crystal!

*While stocks last. First-come, first-served basis.

On the other hand, you can “Hunt“ to discover the hottest street food in your area, courtesy of your fellow foodies! Not to mention you can still earn points by dropping a “like” and leaving a review of said restaurant. How awesome is that?

Come on then! Create your Tiger Street Food account here ASAP & start earning your rewards just by being a foodie!

2. The fiery main festival is upon us!

After two years of hosting Tiger Street Food Festival virtually, we’re excited to finally experience Tiger’s iconic foodie festival physically from 28 – 30 October and 4 – 6 November (4PM – 12AM), at Factory 19 @ Section 19, Petaling Jaya. With thrilling on-ground activities like exploring maze-like alleyways and secret rooms that unlock even more prizes and rewards, it’s a must-check-out for Malaysian foodies everywhere!

Plus, if you RSVP on the website now, you can redeem a FREE Tiger Crystal when you arrive at the festival! Be there, or be square!

Fire Challenge

3. Fired up on extraordinary lok lok and more!

Tiger was really stoking the fiery celebration ah. Aside from the hottest food hunt, they deployed Tiger Crystal Fire Trucks from 15 September to 15 October, serving lok lok to elevate Malaysians’ street food experience. But don’t be fooled, they didn’t serve any ordinary lok lok!

In line with the hottest street food theme, the Tiger Crystal Fire Truck served a variety of spicy flavours for their soup bases. From creamy curry laksa and heartwarming prawn noodles to numbing mala or spicy white pepper, Malaysians were taken on a country-wide tour of local street flavours – perfectly paired with a refreshing Tiger Crystal!

Locals also took on challenges like the Fire Challenge at the Tiger Crystal Fire Truck, to test their limits with the hottest street food and win free ice-cold Tiger Crystal.

Don’t worry if you missed out on the Tiger Crystal Fire Trucks (we feel you ❤). Malaysians can still bag cool limited-edition Tiger Beer and Tiger Crystal cans and bottles, inspired by popular local street food dishes like char kuey teow, stingray bakar and lok lok. In usual Tiger fashion, the exclusive can and bottle designs look LIT! ?
