Most of the time, CHEESE makes everything better. Want your burger to taste better? Add a slice of cheddar (or mozzarella) cheese on it. Want to make it even cheesier? Throw in another slice of cheese, but watch out for cholesterol.

Just recently, Burger King in Thailand has leveled up their game in a cheesy way (pun intended) by introducing their latest menu – Cheeseburger. Sounds like a normal menu? Believe us when we say it’s not because the fast food chain in Thailand is calling it the “real cheeseburger”. It has no meat, and it has LOTS of cheese.

20 slices of cheddar cheese, to be precise.

That amount of cheddar cheese in 1 consumption, you might be thinking, they MUST be kidding, right? Well, Burger King Thailand assured you in a Facebook post that they don’t kid about their real cheeseburger. In fact, Burger King Thailand offers you something else, in case you don’t think 20 slices are enough.

“You can order more and more slices of cheese. 2 slices for 20 Baht (approximately Rm2.60) only. If you don’t think it’s enough.”

The cheeseburger itself is sold at 109 Baht (approximately RM14.50), almost equivalent to the price of a beef cheeseburger here. Not gonna lie, we do foresee some vendors in Malaysia following suit. If we can have Nasi Lemak Cheese, what else do you think we can’t have?

Jokes aside, those who have tried the “real” cheeseburger had something to say about Burger King Thailand’s latest menu.

According to a report by CNN Business, customers generally thought the burger is tasty BUT, it was just too intense, even for cheese lovers. Some of them could only finish half of it, and some would have preferred a maximum of 2 slices of cheese. Burger King Thailand also confirmed that the menu is only available until today (13 July).

As for Burger King Malaysia, at the time of writing (13 July), they have yet to reveal anything about the “real” cheeseburger which features 20 slices of cheddar cheese. However, here’s probably the cheesiest (no pun intended) item that you can get in Burger King Malaysia right now.

Now, food enthusiasts, assuming the menu is available here, do you see yourself giving this cheeseburger a try? We wonder what Gordon Ramsay has to say about this.
