Budget 2022: Free Sanitary Pads To Be Provided Monthly To 130,000 Teens In B40 Group

In the tabling of Budget 2022 in the Dewan Rakyat today, the Minister of Finance Tengku Zafrul bin Tengku Abdul Aziz said that the government will provide free sanitary pads every month to 130,000 female teenagers in the B40 group.

During the tabling in Dewan Rakyat, he added that RM11 million will be allocated for subsidies of mammogram tests and pap smear tests for cervical cancer.

RM5 million will also be allocated to the Women’s Leadership Foundation to boost women’s participation in the economic sector
