In his latest live telecast to the nation today (5th June 2020), Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has announced that the government will be releasing a new short term economic stimulus plan, called PENJANA, which will focus on addressing 40 different initiatives. The initiative is expected to cost the government upwards of RM35 billion.
This is to ease the lives of the rakyat, from wage subsidies to unemployment financial aid, and more.
