The numbers just keep on rising.

The Ministry of Health has just reported 117 new cases of the dreaded Covid-19 virus today at 5:40pm, bringing the total of recorded cases in Malaysia to a worrying 790.

Of the 117 cases, 80 infections are said to be linked to the mass cluster case in Masjid Jamek, Sri Petaling that saw the gathering of 14,500 Malaysians.

Of all these patients, 15 are currently being treated in the ICU due to the severity of their conditions and are in need of respiratory equipment to keep breathing.

MOH advises all Malaysians to not place their lives or the lives of their families at risk by defying the Movement Control Order. With the current two deaths that lay on Malaysia’s total, nobody wants to see that number increase any more than it should.

Stay safe and stay tuned for more updates!
