The service at certain restaurants can be slow at times due to the lack of manpower and many other reasons. But it’s not every day when a slow service triggered a customer to the extent he holds a knife.

A video of a customer losing his temper at a restaurant has gone viral on social media. According to a report by Kosmo, the waiter did not respond to him when he wanted to place his order and that caused him to be angry and make noise, which interrupted the peace of other customers.

The incident took place at a Kopitiam in Kedah and the angry man reportedly started to be upset after waiting for a long time to be attended by 1 of the waiters there. You can watch the clip below which was shared by China Press on its TikTok account.

Aside from the angry customer, someone else in the video also caught the attention of the viewers.

While he angrily pointed the knife toward a worker of the Kopitiam, a man behind him can be seen trying to pull him away from the worker. He then casually took the knife away from the furious customer before injuries happen.

Good job, brother!

The man’s action has received praises from the netizens who applauded his bravery and calmness in handling the matter.

“I would’ve run away from the situation.”

It is fortunate that no death or injuries were reported and the bravery of the man behind the customer should be applauded. However, this is not a reason for anyone to try and be a hero should a situation like this arise again in the future.
