BIGBANG is making headlines again ever since T.O.P and G-Dragon returned from the army. The remaining two members of BIGBANG — Taeyang and Daesung — had been discharged today (10 November) at the Ground Operations Command in the city of Yongin.

This morning at 10 am KST, the duo was welcomed by huge crowds of fans and reporters, showering them with lots of love and support. The fans had been longing for their return months since they were enlisted in March 2018, according to allkpop. With Daesung and Taeyang’s glorious discharge, all of BIGBANG’s members had completed their duties in the Korean military.

While they were interviewed by the reporters, they’ve expressed endless gratitude for the soldiers and superiors that they worked with in the army, as reported on Soompi. Daesung gave a heartfelt comment about his experience in the team, where he learned about empathising with people.

“I also think that I learned a lot of things after entering the military. I felt a lot of emotions that I hadn’t experienced during my everyday life, and I think that I learned a lot about empathising with other people.”

The fans were dying to know what BIGBANG’s plans are since this duo finally reunited with G-Dragon and T.O.P who had been discharged in October. And to excite the fans even more, Taeyang gave a statement about the group’s future plans.

“After a lot of thought and careful discussion amongst ourselves, once we have shared our opinions and come to an agreement, I’d truly like to repay our fans with good things, and we’ll work hard. We’ll try to show many sides of ourselves that we were unable to show during our time in the military.”

A Malaysian V.I.P (how BIGBANG’s fans address themselves) made it to the celebration to express her love to Taeyang.

Here’s a video that she uploaded onto Twitter (@iKON__BOBBYYY):

In the video, she told Taeyang in Korean “I’m from Malaysia”, and Taeyang greeted her back. She then went on to tell him “I love you” in Mandarin and the star shook her hand in return while handing a pack of snacks to her. What a lucky fangirl! Admin is super jealous rn!

It seems like BIGBANG is returning to create a big bang in the music industry. Welcome back, kings! #Dope_Discharge_Congratz
