Beyond Greatest Hits: Faizal Tahir’s Suara Rakyat Concert is Now 85% Sold Out & Counting

In October, Malaysian hitmaker Faizal Tahir returns from a three-year hiatus, bringing over two decades of musical mastery and more than just his greatest hits to the stage.

Faizal Tahir: Suara Rakyat celebrates the singer-songwriter’s over 20 years of legacy on 3 October @ Unifi Arena Bukit Jalil, with a few surprises in store that would excite fans.

Tickets for the concert are already 85% sold out, clear proof that fans have been eagerly waiting for his return.

Here’s everything you need to know about Faizal Tahir: Suara Rakyat:

1. Giving voice to the rakyat

If you’re worried that Faizal Tahir’s upcoming Suara Rakyat would be a mere “greatest-hits” concert, fear not; the singer-songwriter wants fans to feel they’re part of his journey too.

“I don’t want it to be simply a night where we come, sing the old songs, and go home,” Faizal said.

“I want everyone who attends to feel that they are part of this journey, because these songs have grown alongside them too.”

Faizal also aims to ignite national pride and foster unity across generations of Malaysian fans with his concert. With a setlist ranging from enduring patriotic anthems such as “Gemuruh” to fresh releases like “Ini Suara Kita,” expect an inspiring show packed with showstopping performances that remind us what it means to be Malaysian.

2. Reuniting with Mirwana

Among the concert’s most intriguing announcements is the special appearance of Mirwana, the legendary nasyid group that played a pivotal role in Faizal’s rise to stardom. Their presence is an essential component of the show, carrying deep nostalgic and emotional weight for longtime fans.

This reunion is far more than a simple performance of fan-favourite classics. Bringing these two names together on a single stage honours a defining chapter in Faizal’s two-decade artistic journey, letting you relive the historical moments of his career.

Even as the concert date draws closer, Faizal hinted that there is still much more yet to be revealed. “Insya-Allah, there is still a lot that we haven’t shown. What we shared today is only a part of what will happen on 3 October.”
