We can’t think of a better word to describe this lady other than ‘badass’!

A 21-year-old lady was robbed on Monday (23 July) evening and she did something many snatch theft victims probably wouldn’t dare do – chasing and knocking down the culprits. This incident took place in Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

According to Sinchew, the lady, who works as a clerk, was riding her motorcycle to her friend’s place at 6.56pm. Unfortunately, she was targetted by two men on a motorcycle who then snatched her handbag that was placed in her bike’s basket.

Instead of being a deer in headlights, the young lady gave chase and managed to ram into the robbers’ bike. She sustained light injuries after falling to the ground.

“Members of the public who were at the scene apprehended the culprits and later handed them over to the policemen. The injured victim then went to the hospital for treatment,” Sungai Buloh district police chief said.

The cop added that both the suspects are 33 years old and they have nine and ten criminal records respectively. Some of the cases involved drug abuse, which is why we’re not surprised to find out their urine tests came back positive.

The suspects will be investigated under Section 394 of the Penal Code.

Well, these robbers got what they deserved, and we salute the lady for her exceptional bravery!
