A video has gone viral after showing an individual, reportedly a former politician, caught watching porn inside a mosque in Melaka.
The clip has been shared widely across multiple Facebook pages, with many claiming that the person involved is also a member of the mosque committee.

In the video, the man filming could be seen approaching what is believed to be an office inside a mosque, where the man in question was sitting at a computer. The incident reportedly took place on 27 December 2025.
The cameraman, who identified himself as an imam (religious leader), then moved closer to the window and pointed his phone at the computer screen, which clearly showed pornographic content.

He knocked on the glass to alert the alleged committee member inside before he stepped out of the room, at which point the cameraman asked him what he was doing.
“This is a mosque. The two individuals with me are witnesses. This recording is not edited or created using artificial intelligence (AI),” the imam said in the video.
Meanwhile, Berita Harian reported that the State Committee Chairman for Education, Higher Learning, and Religious Affairs, Datuk Rahmad Mariman, said he will raise the issue of the viral video at the Mosque Governance Committee (JKTU) meeting scheduled for next week.
