Being a delivery rider is no easy job. Just like most jobs, it has its ups and downs. However, a particular deliveryman took it to a whole new level with his initiative.

Recently, a heartwarming video went viral on TikTok when a rider was filmed delivering a package safely without getting it wet in the rain. The initiative taken was truly inspiring!

I heard someone honking earlier, the rider had been waiting outside in the rain for a while“, said the person who recorded & uploaded the video, who is also the neighbour. Upon looking out the window, the neighbour witnessed that the rider was trying to reach the owner of the parcel, but failed to do so.

30 minutes have passed, the now drenched rider decides to climb over the gate!

Once on the other side, the rider carries the package and drops it off at the main door to prevent it from getting damaged due to the bad weather.

He climbs back out and gets prepped to move on with another delivery. According to the TikTok user/neighbour, the owner of the parcel was actually home and did not hear the deliveryman as they were perhaps fast asleep.

“Work towards making things easier for others… With God’s will we might have our burdens at ease too”, says a netizen.
