The ongoing case involving 20 welfare homes linked to Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holding (GISBH) resulted in the raid and rescue of 402 children and teens who suffered severe abuse.

Despite the company’s denial of all allegations, recent videos circulating online show children being mistreated, which authorities believe may have occurred in those welfare homes.

96 bank accounts linked to GISB have been frozen

In a recent update, the New Straits Times reports that the police have frozen 96 bank accounts associated with GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd, involving over half a million ringgit.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain stated that more than RM581,552.31 has been frozen across these accounts so far.

“The accounts were frozen under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing, and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001. Additionally, we have seized 8 vehicles linked to the company,” he added.

“There were sodomy cases, but only 1 or 2 (cases)”

In a video posted on GISBH’s Facebook page on September 14, executive chairman and CEO, Nasiruddin Mohd Ali, acknowledged that there were “1 or 2” cases of abuse in their welfare homes, but insisted that the incidents of sodomy involved only a few individuals.

Even with this admission, Nasiruddin defended the company, saying that the accusations of human trafficking and child exploitation came quickly and without any prior discussion.

He also questioned why the authorities removed 402 children, aged 1 to 17, from their care, suggesting they should have talked to GISBH first rather than just taking the children away.

He called the claims slander intended to damage the company and announced that GISBH would be seeking legal advice regarding these accusations.
