7 Unique Shisha Places In Kuala Lumpur - World Of Buzz 5

Smoking shisha has become one of Malaysians favorite pastime to unwind in the recent years especially during get-together or ‘yumcha’ sessions at night. Shisha spots have been teeming in due to their popularity and can be found very commonly in Mamaks and late night cafes.

Despite the hundreds or thousands of shisha spots out there, here’s a list some of the most unique shisha experience one can get in KL.

1. KL Smokey’s Shisha Corner

With adorable lit skulls and equally lit bongs, this relatively new shisha place is already a crowd pleaser. Not only do they serve good shisha, it’s cheap too! Plus, if smoking the pipe is getting a little old for you, request for their bubbles!

Find them at: Nurin’s Food Corner, 2, Jalan Bayam, Maluri, 55100 Kuala Lumpur

2. BKB Hookah Bar

Bkb Hookah 2

Bkb Hookah

Bkb Hookah 3

Innovative and creative, BKB Shisha utilizes fruits and transforms them into a shisha bong! Using pineapples, pumpkin, strawberries, oranges , bananas and kiwis, this store is laden with them and are not to be mistaken for a fruit store! Joke aside, these fruit bongs are available from 7.30pm up till 3.30am and are sure to pack a punch (no pun intended).

Find them at: No. 10, Jalan SL 1/12 Bandar Sungai Long, Kajang; Steven’s Corner @ Setapak; or upcoming branch in SS15

3. Tinker’s

Tinker 2

Cup Shisha

Want something more hyped? Tinker’s your go to shisha place. This shisha lounge has good music, exotic cars for display, pool table which costs RM4 per game and is further elevated by the surrounding colourful lights. They are known for their bubble shisha and range of creative bongs.

Find them at: Uptown Pudu, Jalan Nicholas, 52100 Kuala Lumpur.

4. Alibaba In The Cloud Shisha

Alibaba 1

Alibaba 2

Heineken

Chivas Shisha

No Disney characters here, but there certainly is excellent shisha. Alibaba in the Cloud first started their shisha business in a mamak stall, and the few months proved successful for them with crowds filling the many rows of outdoor parking spaces. They now operate in their very own store! Alibaba serves shisha in colourful litted alcohol bottles and ofcourse, other wide variety of bongs as well. A must try is their rainbow flavour.

Find them at: Block C-G-8, Seri Gembira Avenue, Taman Gembira, 58200 Kuala Lumpur

5. The Hype Shisha

Hype 1

Hype 2

The Hype Shisha is an automobile themed shisha spot which uses empty NOS cylinders as their bong. For those who don’t know what NOS is, it stands for Nitrous Oxide System, the thingy that power the engines of race cars or in layman’s term “turbo”. The shisha place recently just opened in March but are already driving in (no pun intended) a good amount of loyal customers. So if you’re looking to boost your day (Ok, pun intended), try their NOS bong shisha for only RM10 till the end of April.

Find them at: Jalan TK 1/1, Taman Kinrara, 47100 Puchong

6. Starlight Cafe

Starlight 2

Star Light

A bistro-like cafe which not only serves good shisha but other forms of entertainment as well, ranging from dart machines to a wide variety of card and table games. Note that this place is non halal tho as it also serves alcohol. With free WiFi and power plugs at every corner, Starlight is a suitable place if you are looking to do assignments or just chill.

Find them at: 15, Jalan Kuchai Maju 6, Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park, 58200 Kuala Lumpur

7. Hookah Bar

Hookah Bar 1

Hookah Bar

Opened for a little more than one year, Hookah Bar proved popular with the crowd and continues to strive to serve one of the best shishas. With alcohol bottle bongs in trend, this place does not falter. Our personal favourite is their double shisha bong, only because there are two pipes and you get to hog it longer. Well, sharing is caring right?

Find them at: Star Village, No 1, Jalan 10/116B, Kuchai Entrepreneur’s Park, 58200 Kuala Lumpur or Day & Night cafe in Sri Petaling
