Come birthdays or any other reason for a party, it’s a struggle to decide what to do and where to go. Private parties have been becoming very popular in Malaysia, especially amongst the 20+ year olds. Probably because we want to let the world know that we’re finally an adult and we’re not getting anymore younger!

We’ve listed 6 event spaces you may want to consider for your next birthday, product launch, wedding or whatever you want to celebrate and here they are:

 

1. RUANG

From workshops, training, meetings, birthdays, weddings, media launch and so much more, this event space caters to almost every event you can think of! RUANG even had rent out to interesting events before, such as fashion shows, flea markets and music showcases.

The 3,200 sq ft space is air-conditioned and can accommodate up to a whopping 200 pax at once. Their walls are coated with special paint that converts them into a giant chalkboard/whiteboard. That sounds like a lot of fun!

2. Hideaway Lodge

Living up to its name, this elegantly designed space is secluded from the busy streets outside. This shoplot transformation is equipped with 5 bedrooms to fit 2 people each, so you can only imagine the convenience for your tired (or drunk) friends.

Since it is after all a former shop lot, it is the perfect space for gatherings or parties where you can make all the noise you want without worrying pesky neighbours asking you to shut up.

3. Hello Deer

Located strategically in Damansara Uptown, this space was started by the same people who brought you Wondermilk and is usually booked for birthdays, baby showers, corporate functions and bridal showers.

The vibrant yet elegant decor inside makes it a great place for pretty photo shoots to commemorate the memorable day!

4. Boutel Loft

Specially catered for parties, Boutel Loft has three spaces for your choosing; One City, Empire Subang and Puchong. Each space are designed differently and has their own sets of qualities. Our favourite one would be One City which is minimalistic, having only the necessary furnitures and electric appliances that occupy the space to ensure maximum partying. They even have a garden outside for BBQ!

 

5. W_are_house

As creative as their name goes, this spectacular space is designed with an rustic industrial theme. This 1,700 sq ft space can be rented out for almost any function and has been used for parties, music performances and even video shoots!

The place is well equipped with a large projector for ya’ll who enjoy movies, ping-pong table for a good fun round of beer pong (or actual ping-pong), sound systems so you don’t have to lug your huge speak about, mini garden for some fresh air and a king-size bed to end the night.

6. The Canvas

Beautifully minimalistic, this space is clad in white except for their brown wooden flooring. This space which is 1,000 sq ft can accommodate 30 people comfortably. The space is specially designed for meetings, brainstorms, product launches and private parties. The greatest part? Huge whiteboard walls to doodle on!
