1. Technology
Even though technology has been a booming industry since 1980’s, it recently picked up radically again when researchers have gone deeper into technological breakthroughs.
Just recently, humans have managed to create fully-working Artificial Intelligence (AI), a machine or program that can think on it’s own. Besides that, Virtual Reality, self-driving cars, etc are also the products of technological development in recent years.
Just as the tech developed, the amount of jobs available also expanded.

2. Banking & Finance
This field is a more ‘traditional’ one to go into, so to speak. Banking and finance have always been known as a well-paying industry.
It seems like many global banks are migrating their functions to Kuala Lumpur. Hence, there is a higher demand for business analysts, process engineers, etc.
Being able to speak, read and write Mandarin is also an added advantage as more and more businesses are being taken over by China and Hong Kong today.

3. Accounting
Following suit, accountants are necessary in most if not all companies regardless of the industry. But aside from that, financial risk management is also a highly sought after service that pays well.
Of course, this would mean having to crunch out numbers day-in and day-out, and being extremely precise.

The digital industry has been all the rage recently as the field is widening into more creative options such as game development, UI design, virtualisation, etc.
Although many people would assume that this industry is more towards the arts side, there is a lot of technicality in it too.
