He flashed his private parts while she was walking alone

Sepang District Police Deputy Chief, G Shan Gopal, said the suspect was caught in Labohan Dagang, and the car he used during the incident was also seized.

The arrest came after the victim filed a police report claiming the suspect approached her in a car while she was walking alone and then exposed himself to her.

“After the report, we managed to arrest the suspect around 12:15 a.m. Checks showed the suspect has no previous criminal record,” Shan Gopal said.

He said the case was investigated according to Section 509 of the Penal Code and if found guilty could be punished with imprisonment of up to 5 years or a fine or both.

“The suspect will also be investigated in accordance with Section 14 of the Minor Offenses Act 1955 and if found guilty can be punished with a fine not exceeding RM100,” he said.
